These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our horse agistment services.
Agistment Agreement
All horse owners are required to sign an agistment agreement before their horse is accepted onto the property. This agreement outlines the responsibilities of both parties.
Payment Terms
Agistment fees are to be paid in advance, either on a weekly or monthly basis as agreed.
Late payments may incur additional fees, and services may be suspended until payments are up to date.
Horse Care & Maintenance
While we provide daily care and supervision, horse owners are responsible for ensuring their horse is up to date with vaccinations, worming, and other medical requirements.
Owners must inform us of any specific dietary, medical, or behavioral needs of their horse.
Liability
Tappys Lodge will take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of all horses on the property. However, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness, or loss of life resulting from unforeseen circumstances or accidents.
Owners are encouraged to maintain insurance for their horse
Veterinary Care
In the event of illness or injury, we will make every effort to contact the horse owner immediately. If urgent care is required and the owner cannot be reached, we reserve the right to call a vet and act in the best interest of the horse. Veterinary expenses will be the owner's responsibility.
Property Access & Horse Handling
Owners are welcome to visit the property during agreed hours and must check in with management upon arrival.
Only authorized persons are allowed to handle horses. Any damage caused by unauthorized individuals will be the responsibility of the horse owner.
Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the agistment agreement with [X] days' notice.
If services are terminated, all fees must be settled before the horse is removed from the property.
Use of Facilities
The use of our facilities (such as stables, paddocks, and riding tracks) is at the discretion of Tappys Lodge
Owners must respect all guidelines regarding facility use, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of others.
Behavioral Issues
If a horse displays dangerous or destructive behavior, we reserve the right to request its removal from the property for the safety of others.
Amendments
Tappys Lodge reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided in advance.
